Now open to the public, this truly opulent accommodation comprises three master bedrooms, all en suite and adorned with precious antique furniture – ideal for the most unforgettable trip to Rome. One of the bathrooms even comes with a Jacuzzi, though we suspect this wasn’t part of Cardinal Peretti’s original design…
Particularly suited to large families or groups, the Papal suite comfortably sleeps up to nine, and esteemed guests are afforded all the services, luxuries and regal treatment those familiar with the Navona Garden Suites name have come to expect. Cardinal Felice Peretti came from humble beginnings in what is known today as Le Marche. He became Pope for the final five years of his life during which time he is credited with several reforms within the Vatican. He shrewdly made a promise to subsidise King Phillip II of Spain’s failed invasion of England – on condition of the Armada actually landing.

the Eternal City, just a short stroll away from what was once the Emperor Domitian's
stadium for athletic displays, the Circus Agonalis. This name, corrupted over
the centuries to n'Agona, lives on in the present day Piazza Navona.
